About Muslim Educational Society
The Muslim Educational Society (Regd), a non-political socio-educational-cultural organization of the Muslims in Kerala, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, was established in the year 1964 under the able, charismatic and dynamic leadership of the late Dr.P.K.Abdul Gafoor.
Muslim Education Society was founded in 1964 at Calicut under the tutelage of the inspiring personality Late Dr.Abdul Gafoor. From its humble beginning M.E.S has become one of the top-notch educational agencies in Kerala with network of school and colleges. During the initial stages M.E.S encourage education among members of its community by awarding scholarships. The commitment and understanding spirits shown by the M.E.S to impart knowledge to the educationally under privileged class of society have gained wide respect and reputation.
M.E.S is the largest corporate educational agency of the Muslims in India, with more than 150 educational institutions, including Medical College, Dental College, Engineering colleges, CBSE Schools, State syllabus Higher Secondary Schools and Industrial Training Centres with more than 60000 students and around 15000 employees. Mentally challenged, cultural complexes and various hostels draw up the board canvas of services offered and activities under taken by the society. The MES has registered its presence not only in India but in all the Middle East nations and enjoy the patronage of people from all the quarters as a politically neutral body and extends its services to all, upholding its secular fabric. M.E.S Arts and Science College Amayur is a promising institution under MES management since 2012.

MES KAlladi College at Mannarkad was the first institution to be set up by the Society in 1967, Today MES is the largest corporate educational agency of the Muslims in India, managing more than 150 educational institutions including Medical College, Dental College, Engineering College, College of Nursing, Post Graduate Arts & Science Colleges, B.Ed Colleges, CBSE Schools, State syllabus Higher Secondary Schools and Industrial Training Centers with more than 60,000 students and 15,000 odd employees. Hospitals, Orphanages, Old-age Homes, Special Schools for Mentally Challenged, Cultural Complexes and various hostels draw up the board canvas of services offered and activities undertaken by the Society.
MES has registered its presence in other Indian States and in all Middle East Nations and enjoys the patronage of people from all quarters as a political neutral body.
The establishment of Youth Wing and Ladies Wing has been instrumental in mobilizing strength and gaining fillip in its expanding service umbrella. The society interest in imparting higher education to Muslim Students and assisting economically backward, but educationally brilliant students by instituting merit awards and scholarships. MES is the biggest scholarship distributor in India.
50% of the seats will be filled by the University in Merit Quota. And the rest 50% of the seats will be filled in the Management Quota.
